THE DARK DANCES
The complete score of original music written for a new dance by Robert Mark Dance. The Dark Dances combines ominous, textured soundscapes with fragmented melodies and driving drums to create a canvas of foreboding dreams and fateful encounters.
The Dark Dances made its stage premiere in October 2022 with the dance Dawned choreographed by Robert Mark Burke, produced with commissioning support from the O'Donnell-Green Music and Dance Foundation.
